Continuing with my Pageant Girl Interview Series, I had the chance to connect with Cadence Heaton, Northeastern Ohio Young America's Miss Argibusiness.
One thing that I love about this interview series is learning about the different pageant systems. The pageantry world is very diverse and you can find a pageant system for almost every background. It's really amazing having so many opportunities to showcase your personality.
The America's Miss Argibusines pageant is a program highlighting the beauty of America's Agricultural Industries. This pageant system's purpose is "Growing America's Future through a process we call Beauty By Action". This system encourages their contestants to promote the agricultural world while spending time with their communities and having FUN.
Tiffany: What was your first pageant?
Cadence: Ohio National American Miss.
Cadence: I wanted to enter pageantry to gain confidence, friendships, and public speaking skills. I wanted to have a chance to get my thoughts and opinions out publicly through speech, interview, and personal introduction. I wanted to have a chance to give little girls someone to look up to. I also wanted to let people know that they are not alone and can be successful, too.
Cadence: I have learned that I am amazing at writing out speeches and personal introductions. I learned that you are never truly alone and that you need dark to see the light.
Cadence: I love that I have a large support system between my sister queens and staff. I also love that my sister queens will always be their for me whether I need someone to talk to or I just really miss them.
